Week 13 Rankings

This week is going to be a different style of rankings. There are a few reasons for this.

1. My beautiful girlfriend spilled wine on my computer and now the l key does not work. I can hit alt+108 to make an l, but it's a pain in the ass, so the rankings will be short until I get my new keyboard. I may even make video posts for the playoff previews next week.

2. There are no consolation prizes to give, as no one new was eliminated.

3. I've made enough playoff scenario update emails over the last two weeks that you have heard enough of me.

So you can scroll down for Bitching About Kicking and the Week 13 Rankings, but first I have something that will hopefully occupy some of our time at work, and keep those of us who are eliminated interested in the league:

D-Name Madness!

We have an underused poll feature on this blog, and I am out to change that. What better way than to rank and match up our favorite D-Names of all time? Granted, this will be a bit era-biased, as we have 3 2008s, 4 2009s, 4 2010s, 2 2011s, and 2 2012s in the league, and I'm not sure who else is on the listserve and reads the rankings. So the names will likely fall within that range, but any particularly good names from outside that range should be included.

The way I ideally want to do this is to have each of you send me your top 5 names, ranked. I'm aware that it takes effort for people to do this, but even our laziest members (namely Nick and Weissbard) have a passion for D-Names. I will compile a master list and then create a bracket. The voting will be done through the poll feature, and will take as long as it takes to go through the bracket. I'm assuming it will be a 16-name bracket, with a possible play-in game. Send your lists to me personally (kevkumpf@gmail.com) by next Thursday for them to be included.

If this doesn't come together than so be it, but I think we all can get behind wasting time at work and hazing.
